I am a Shropshire farmer and self-taught artist working in watercolours for about 15 years. I have mainly been painting landscapes but increasingly have found enjoyment in experimenting with acrylics and now paint anything that inspires me. A lot of my work is inspired by the beautiful countryside that surrounds me. Workload and commitment has largely held my artwork back but with the help of my wife I can now allocate a little more time to this. Animals are a big part of my life and again I am enjoying challenging myself by painting these in acrylics. I have recently had greetings cards produced from some of my work. I also enjoy restoring furniture and wood turning.
