My work is inspired by research into the natural environment, social history and place. I am interested in what it is like being in the world. Ideas are worked into poetic, graphic structures using wire, fabric and found objects. Materials are carefully chosen for their relevance to the idea or the site. The work is about change, the transience of time, moments on a collective journey.
I am also a member of re:collect: a group of artists of different disciplines, producing and exhibiting contemporary work in a heritage context.
