I have lived in Shropshire for over thirty years. After a career in business and then in libraries, my retirement allowed me the time to pursue a lifelong interest in art, assisted and supported by the many artists in whose workshops I have developed my own voice as a printmaker and lately as a ceramicist.

A member of Belfrey Pottery in Wellington, I am inspired and influenced by organic shapes and the beautiful Shropshire countryside.

I am presently working with black clays and contrasting them with white or buff stoneware. I am interested in different textures, different colours, all contrasts. Mostly they are left after a higy firing as naked clay but increasingly I am starting to experiment with adding slips or glazes 

As a member of Shropshire Art Society, I exhibit drawings and original prints in their bi-annual exhibitions and in craft fairs in Shropshire.
