Jancis Vaughan

Jancis Vaughan is based at Raven Studios (www.ravenstudios.org.uk) in Shrewsbury, where she is a founding artist director.

Jancis moved to Shropshire after studying Fine Art at De Montfort University, Lincoln, as a returning mature student, and has embedded herself in the local arts scene; Jancis runs a primary school art club in Morda, Oswestry, is involved with the Shrewsbury English Bridge Workshop development, is an Arts Award Adviser and a Trustee for the Visual Art Network (VAN). She also occasionally works for Meadow Arts in Ludlow as a Creative Practitioner.

Jancis works with print, paint, drawing and textiles. and has exhibited locally and regionally (VAN Gallery; University Centre Shrewsbury; SADAA Shropshire Open; Participate Contemporary Artspace; Mostyn Gallery, LLandudno; Oriel Linda Norris, Pembs; The Qube, Oswestry; Ty Pawb, Wrexham).
